Eight things we promise.
Student data is never sold
Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. Period.
Student data never trains models
What students write stays theirs. We don't feed it to model training pipelines, ours or anyone else's.
Teachers see only their classes
Role-based access by default. A 9th-grade English teacher sees 9th-grade English students. No more.
Encrypted at rest and in transit
AES-256 at rest. TLS 1.3 in transit. Standard, audited, boring. The way encryption should be.
Easy data deletion
Students, parents, and admins can request removal at any time. We take down the writing and feedback (keeping only de-identified usage counts) within 30 days.
Signed DPA on request
We sign Data Processing Agreements with every school we work with. Standard or yours.
Designed for ages 13 and up
Connectink is intended for students in 6th grade and older. We don't currently accept accounts for students under 13.
Transparent about AI
Every AI-generated comment is labeled. Students always know when they're reading the model and when they're reading their teacher.
